To access this service, you will need to connect to our office (LAN) network. Most computers already have a built-in LAN card (also known as an Ethernet, 10/100, 10-Based-T or NIC card). LANs run at speeds of either 10 or 100 Mb/s. The eOffice network supports both speeds. To connect to the network, you will have to change your Local Area Connection settings in the network settings control panel. The information on IP Address, Subnet Mask, Default Gateway and DNS server is located at each workstation on a white card. Please contact technical support at firstname.lastname@example.org if you need help.
For security reasons, our network does not allow you to access computers belonging to other eOffice members from your computer. However, if you need to work with other users, for example, for file/printer sharing, we can set up a vLAN (Virtual Local Area Network) or you can purchase a mini hub (additional broadband charges will apply). Please contact technical support at email@example.com to have this set up for you.
We have provided networked digital colour printers and copiers in partnership with Canon. Please contact technical support at firstname.lastname@example.org to have printing set up for you. Printing and copying is available on a price per copy basis.
To use the fax option you will need to use the printer code and printer password given to you and summarized on your white utility card.
To use the scan to email option you will need to use the printer code and printer password given to you and summarized on the white utility card. You will be able to scan in PDF or TIFF format.
Please contact eOffice technical support during office hours 9am - 6pm Mon-Fri (dial 0 for reception or +44 (0) 870 888 88 88 from outside) or email email@example.com. eOffice does not currently offer technical support outside these hours.
